Refund Policy – Donations
Due to the nature of charity donations, refunds are given at the discretion of the No Barriers Education Foundation Inc (“NoBarriers”) management. Please make sure that the amount you enter is the amount you wish to give. In the event of an incorrect amount being entered, or if the donation is made accidently or there is an extremely unusual circumstance, please contact us. We will review the request and respond. If deemed appropriate, a refund will be made if there was a system error with the donation processing. If a donation is refunded, the associated tax receipt is no longer truthful so it must be shredded and destroyed.
Refusal of donations
NoBarriers reserves the right to decline any donation at its sole discretion.
Purpose of donation and fundraising activities
NoBarriers will always aim to honour the indicated purpose of the donation, if any. However, we have ultimate unconditional discretion to redirect the donation or funds raised to an alternative program or initiative being undertaken by NoBarriers.
Merchandise
If you are not satisfied with your product we will consider, again at the sole discretion of our management, an exchange if in stock or an alternative or similar product is available or a refund of your purchase price. An exchange or refund will only be considered if the item is unused or undamaged and the claim is made within 30 days of the purchase. This is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us to arrange a refund/exchange.
Events and Tickets Policy
The following terms and conditions will help all patrons to enjoy the event that tickets have been purchased for. Tickets entitle the holder to attend the event or activity at the date, time and location stated on the front of the ticket and/or selected at the time of purchase through official sales channels. By purchasing a ticket the buyer and/or the holder agrees to the following:
1. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that all details are correct at the time of purchase especially the event name, date, time and location. The ticket may not be exchanged, refunded or returned except in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
2. Tickets purchased from third parties may not gain you entry to an event, as we cannot guarantee that the ticket/s will be valid.
3. The right is reserved to vary advertised programs activities and events and to add, withdraw or substitute artists and content as necessary.
4. The right of admission is reserved including where entry is delayed for late arrivals, refused or where a customer is asked to leave the activity, event or associated premises.
5. Food and alcohol not purchased at the venue may be refused entry – this is at the discretion of the management of NoBarriers.
6. The recording of an event using any device is prohibited unless otherwise advised or approved in advance with the management of NoBarriers.
The above terms and conditions are consistent with Australian consumer Law and the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice.and their Safe Tix Guide. The right is reserved to vary these terms and conditions and updates may be made available on the NoBarriers website which can be accessed at https://www.nobarriers.org.au/.
Ticket prices are correct at time of quotation or publication but are subject to change at the discretion of NoBarriers management. Single ticket prices may be dynamically adjusted, without notice, dependent upon market demand.
Advertised prices are valid for the day of publication only and subject to change without notice.

This Privacy Policy provides information on how NoBarriers manages personal information collected; including personal information collected through their website at https://www.nobarriers.org.au. NoBarriers realises the importance of ensuring that personal information held is treated confidentially and is committed to ensuring that all personal information is only collected, disclosed, used and stored in accordance with the National Privacy Principles set out under the federal Privacy Act 1988.

NoBarriers will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent. The only personal information collected is what has been provided voluntarily and as part of the charitable pursuits of NoBarriers.

Personal information may need to be disclosed to external service providers engaged by NoBarriers in order for those service providers to fulfil their service obligations to NoBarriers. For example: IT service providers who assist in managing NoBarriiers’ website, servers and networks may need to access doner and volunteer data in order to maintain the servers and networks.
Where personal information is disclosed to an external party, NoBarriers will seek to ensure that the external party treats such information confidentially and in accordance with the federal Privacy Act 1988.
Receiving Communication
If you have registered through our website to receive email communications from us, we may use your contact details to send you newsletters, marketing emails or invitations to NoBarriers activities or events, which may be of interest to you. However, you may at any time opt out of receiving such materials by emailing us at http://www.nobarriers.org.au/contact-us or simply ‘unsubscribing’ from our email list via the link at the bottom of the email we have sent. If you do send us a request to have your details removed, we will remove your contact details from our distribution lists.
Accessing and Correcting Personal Information
You may request us to provide you with access to personal information we hold about you. We will process all requests for access to personal information in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. In most cases, we will provide you with access to your personal information. However, we may refuse access in certain situations as listed in the National Privacy Principles. If we refuse to give you access, we will provide you with reasons for our refusal.
If any personal information we hold about you is not accurate, complete or up to date, please let us know and in most cases, we will use all reasonable efforts to update the information.

From time to time it may be necessary for us to revise our privacy policy. We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time without prior notice. We will notify you of the changes by posting an updated version of the policy on our website
